I need a fix asap, cant work with this blinding brightness.
I have spent hours trying to fix this, did all the easy tricks like uninstalling and installing the correct drivers from AMD and the HP website, system restore, tried using the power settings (no brightness controls were available there either) and even tried the device manager even tried ccleaner. Installed 8.1, first time using it I was able to adjust the brightness, I blieve after a few minutes because of the 8.1 upodate my laptop started using the Intel Graphic settings and drivers which has disabled things such as the correct information regarding the graphics card and the display in control panel.
